Required Skills:		0-3 year related experience the ability to apply engineering principles in the manufacture test and inspection of aerospace propulsion units. The ability to problem solve and work and communicate effectively in a team environment. The candidate must be a self-starter be willing to learn communicate well and have an excellent work ethic and interpersonal skills. After orientation and training performs entry-level professional work in quality engineering under the guidance and direction of more senior engineers and managers. Prefer experience in aerospace industry. ASQ certifications are a plus. EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate engineering discipline or physical science (experience may be substituted for education as appropriate)
Job Description:		70% - Providing quality engineering support to the Taurus 2 NDT evaluation. This includes, but is not limited to: Working with NDT inspectors to identify and document potential discrepancies with various NDT inspection techniques Maintain and correlate specific inspection results in a format useful for engineering evaluation and Material Review Board proceedings Document results on nonconformance reports (NCs) Create methodology and template to see results across all engines for future analysis. Apply good quality engineering practice to the organization, analysis and presentation of each rocket engines NDT results 10% - Participating in the Material Review Board, including: Segregate and control of nonconforming hardware to preclude inadvertent processing Implement disposition decisions 10% - Drives Corrective and Preventive Action to ensure continual improvement Investigate and determine root causes of problems Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions 10%- Manage other projects as assigned. Provide imaginative, thorough and practical solutions to a wide range of technical problems through the application of quality engineering disciplines and tools.
