Required Skills:
MUST HAVE CATIA V5 experience and experience designing mechanical components from concept to production.

BS degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 3-5 years of experience designing engine and chassis components in 2 and 3 dimension software modeling in automotive racing industry. Hands on experience with internal combustion race engines and related electronic and mechanical systems. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and standard codes and knowledge of technical drawing and data analysis are preferred. Proficient with PC workstation hardware and CATIA V5 Software.

Must have strong data analysis and problem-solving skills with ability to identify true root causes. Ability to create innovative design concepts based on sound engineering principles. Ability to accurately apply engineering theories to design layouts and drawings. Ability to augment technical knowledge by seeking information outside area of expertise. Ability to communicate effectively.


Job Description:
Responsibilities include preliminary design preparation, design layout, evaluation and analysis, component and assembly modeling, drawing preparation and release, prototype manufacture coordination and administrative duties for race engine components including scheduling & reporting to management with a limited amount of supervision
