 Cellular system technical knowledge and bench testing and verification experience is a plus
 Experience with battery charger and USB is a plus
 Able to lead a small team and mentor junior engineers

 Skills in data analysis and technical reporting
 Must be able to work in highly dynamic environment and be able to manage multiple priorities

Job Description:
Position Overview
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly-dynamic power management application team with our Client This position involves cellular system power management unit (PMU).

The PMU integrates complex IPs and functions that includes USB, audio, battery chargers, voltage regulators, fuel gauge, ADC converter, HDMI, etc. As an Application Engineer, you will develop the technical expertise for cellular system power management. You will be involving in the new product development of state-of-the-art cell phone and wireless handset power management unit integrated circuits. You will be building and leading a strong technical team and mentor junior engineers. You will develop the expertise and understand complex cellular power management system requirements. For example, you will develop the expertise in cellular phone charging via USB port, which is governed by multiple standards such as USB1.1/2.0/3.0, OTG2.0, BC1.1, Universal Charging Solution, etc.

Responsibilities:
 Develop strong technical expertise in cellular system power management.
 Develop advance bench test methodology for verifying PMU operation in the cellular systems environment
 Develop test plans to verify PMU operation that fill all cellular requirements both in normal and corner usage cases
 Identify bugs through bench testing
 Debug issues on various boards and systems
 Write test reports for customers
 Provide support to FAE, design teams, platform teams, SW, etc.
 Mentor junior engineers and interns
 Provide feedback to design teams on chip performance
