Required Skills:
EDUCATION AND/OR PROFESSIONAL LICENSE(s):
· A.S. Mathematics/Statistics or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Technology
· Six sigma and Lean manufacturing background preferred.
· ASQ CQT Preferred

EXPERIENCE:

· Minimum of 5 years of previous experience in data mining
descriptive statistics
exploratory and confirmatory data and trend analysis.

KNOWLEDGE
SKILLS AND ABILITIES (These are things the candidate should possess prior to being hired
i.e.
computer skills):

· Extensive database
spreadsheet and Minitab (or other statistical software package) experience including data charting
trend analysis and reporting
· Strong analytic capability and excellent organizational and oral/written presentation skills
with the ability of summarize key issues
· Must possess a firm command of the English language so as to be able to articulate statistical findings in layman terms that can be understood at various levels within the organization
· Fluent in
and the ability to educate others on
the use of quality tools and problem solving methodologies such as 8D
Ishikawa diagrams
SPC
etc.
· Broad understanding of quality systems such as ISO9001 (AS9100C preferred)
· Ability to train others
including manufacturing test and assembly personnel
on data collection methods and procedures
· Ability to make suggestions and express oneself openly in a clear and non-confrontational manner
· Manufacturing knowledge of electronic and electromechanical devices (PCB
electronic & electromechanical assemblies)
· 6-Sigma Green Belt desired



Job Description:
Two Roads is seeking a Quality Analyst to go to work for a company in Rancho Cucamonga. The purpose of the Quality Analyst is to utilize statistical techniques and tools to analyze and present data related to the performance of the companies products and processes (including vendor supplied products), recommend process improvements and cost-of-poor-quality reductions and support the continual improvement efforts of the company.

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, and ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (List the essential functions of the position, i.e., what incumbent is required to do, not how it is done):

· Data mining, data cleaning and initial, main and final data analysis.
· Attend, participate and present at meetings within all levels within the organization.
· Conduct training on statistical tools and methodologies.
· Assist with the creation of new documents and the modifying of existing procedures.
Schedule flexibility to support critical deadlines may be required.
