Job Description:		The RoR developer will be need to be able to conceive, design and develop rich graphics, multimedia and HTML for client web sites. Assist in setting web design parameters and style guides to ensure an engaging and user-friendly customer experience. Works closely with Marketing, Brand, Merchandising and Content managers, Graphic Designers, Copywriters, Database Coordinators and Web Development professionals to produce front-end web development projects. Responsibilities • Develop conceptual design theme and translate the idea into a rich graphical user interface using images, flash and dynamic HTML. • Develop page layout guidelines per the web design look and feel trends of the market. • Establish and maintain graphical design, style sheet and color standards for the web sites. • Maintains and provides ongoing design of the company’s Web sites content, advertising and promotions. • Participates with teams in creative and technical concept development to establish and produce all front-end web design and development projects including Internet advertising. • Designs and constructs unique creative concepts for e-commerce merchandising, Web content and banner ads. • Produces multi-media projects, graphic sketches, designs, comps and wireframes. • Participates in the training and oversight of junior designers in Web design and development technical parameters, Web style guides and visual standards. • Responsible for getting all applicable approvals during the design and production process. • Attends web planning and staff meetings. Specific Responsibilities • Assist in coordinating development of scope, business requirements, functional and technical specifications, development, testing and implementation for both .Net solution and legacy ColdFusion sites. • Consult with clients to define project specifications. • Working with the business operations team to identify and define system enhancements to the ERP system that supports back-office organization qualification and order fulfillment processing. • Assist in project management and manage bug tracking and support escalation solutions. • Development QA. • Provide leadership and direction to other developers. • Back end development of .Net e-commerce solution. • Act as backup for procedures in place supporting legacy ColdFusion sites.
