Job Description: |  | •Interact and communicate with Managers, Engineers, and Plant personnel in a positive manner to help solve design related problems to component fit and function.
•Must be able to interpret GD&T dimensioned prints and fixture parts accordingly for accurate measurement.
•Program and operate a CMM (Geomet 301 Software) for inspection of components
•Knowledge or ability to use a vision system Optical Gaging Products (OGP) measuring device
•Able to measure a variety of components including screw machine items, castings, stampings, and molds.
•Able to use an “Instron” type force / load measuring test equipment.
•Able to use standard measurement devices: calipers, micrometers, protractors, hardness testers, etc
Hours to be worked: 40
Length of assignment: 12 months (may extend)
5+ years’ experience required.
