Must have familiarity with Space and MIL-STDs electronics design requirements. Should have experience with the following: military and/or space electronics qualification and production programs
integrated product development and design for manufacturing
and EMI/EMC design and testing. Requires strong written and verbal communication skills
including presentation skills. Must have U.S. Citizenship
U.S. Permanent Residency
or other status as a U.S. Person.

Education: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 5 years experience in High Power (> 1KW)
DC/DC Switch mode Power Supply Design. Advanced degree preferred. Proven strong circuit simulation skills using SPICE or equivalent required.



Job Description:
The current work scope is that of doing SPICE simulation, worst case circuit and derating analyses, and testing for design changes on space rated power processing electronics. Deliverables: Electric circuit component de-rating analyses, WCCA, and design change characterization tests documented in formatted documents and/or PowerPoint presentations.

65 % - Responsible for the analysis, design, development, documentation and verification of major circuit modules in power processing electronics.

10% - Responsible for planning, budget, and schedule for their design tasks and for successful completion of planned tasks.

10% - Applies advanced techniques and the modifications and extension of theories, precepts and practices in electrical engineering and related sciences and disciplines.

10% - Assesses the feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering verification/validation tests, products or equipment, or a program function.

5% - May direct, coordinate and review the work of junior engineers and/or technicians.
