Job Description:
The Water Line Supervisor needs to increase productivity and reduce downtime by driving performance through coaching and training of waterline associates. Manager to calculate increase in performance and decrease in downtime. Demonstrate mechanical knowledge by explaining how the waterline works including machine operation and troubleshooting using electrical schematics. Demonstrate the ability to use SAP, BPCS and Prodreps to create, receive or complete reports.

1. Assisting a self-directed, skilled workforce to coordinate and utilize high speed state of the art equipment. (Group Facilitator – represent the Water Line and reports to WHSE Manager.)
2. Optimize resources while ensuring finished product meet specifications and per the budgeted production standards and in accordance with FDA, USDA, GMP's, HACCP, and all other governmental policies, procedures, and regulations.
3. Monitoring production schedules and requirements in terms of quality, quantity, & safety.
4. Coordinate with planners to schedule work/jobs.
5. Coordinates product inspection and ensure all products and packaging are in specification.
6. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of work in process and completes all relevant paperwork and reporting.
7. Manages operating expense budget, to ensure that sufficient operating supplies and capital equipment are available for department personnel to produce product to schedule. Recommends corrections to budget as production needs require.
8. Assists team on maintenance of operating equipment and machinery necessary to meeting production requirements in an efficient and safe manner. Manages preventive maintenance schedules to assure timely completion of work.
9. Directly and through technical support, establishes programs to control and improve processes. Assures that control measures are reported as required.
10. Investigates and diagnoses production problems in a timely manner.
11. Recommends staffing levels based on production requirements. Following legal requirements hires or promotes most qualified workers as required to meet staffing needs.
12. Empowers staff by providing training and cross training to assure production schedules are met within budget, product specifications, quality requirements and safety standards.
13. Reviews, encourages, evaluates, counsels, disciplines and discharges employees as necessary to ensure department meets or exceeds productivity requirements. Evaluates and recommends improvements to product manufacturability
14. Responsible for the facility’s food safety and food quality programs to assure compliance and achieve desired results.
15. The Waterline Team facilitator will act as the backup in the absence of the Group Facilitator.
