Performs manufacturing engineering assignments requiring a wide application of advanced principles, theories and concepts in the field plus a working knowledge of other related disciplines. Responsible for the manufacturing engineering activities of development and production programs through the application of engineering procedures, which may involve theoretical and experimental investigation, technical direction and coordination, and the conception and planning of resources to support pump fed liquid engines and hardware and/or software requirements. Also involves the analysis, evaluation and solution of technical problems encountered in the application of manufacturing methods, facilities, processes, materials and tooling incident to the fabrication and assembly of pump fed liquid engines.
